An arrest has been made in connection with the fatal hit-and-run that killed a Pittsfield man last week.

Townsquare Media Berkshire has confirmed with multiple sources that 32-year-old Brian Dillard was arrested on Thursday by the North Adams Police Department. He will face charges stemming from the accident in which 49-year-old Al Keefe was killed while riding his motorcycle. The Berkshire Eagle was first to report the arrest.

Dillard is expected to be arraigned in Northern Berkshire District Court on Friday to face charges alleging he stole the truck used in the accident from his job at Cariddi Auto Shop in North Adams before fleeing on foot. The accident took place last Friday on the corner of  Linden and John streets.

According to the report from the Berkshire Eagle, Dillard will also face charges of operating with a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death, receiving stolen property, motor vehicle homicide, failure to yield, and two counts of operating a motor vehicle to endanger. He will face those charges in Central Berkshire District Court.

The community has been incredible in their support of Al Keefe's family. You can support them on Friday night during "Burger Friday" at Otto's between 4-10 p.m. this Friday. A portion of the food and drink purchases will go to Keefe's family.
