Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

This week's Pet of the Week is Max, a cute 12-year-old Shih Tzu who came to Berkshire Humane because his owner could no longer take care of him. Max is a fun-loving little dog who is good to handle and is housebroken.  Max has dry eye, so needs eye drops at least three times a day, and because he is a senior dog, his new owners should be prepared for extra veterinary bills. Max cannot see well, so a home without small children or cats would be best.

To learn more about Max and all the other pets looking for their forever home, contact the Berkshire Humane Society at 214 Barker Road in Pittsfield, or give the shelter a call at (413) 447-7878 ext 126.

Due to the rise in COVID-19 numbers locally, the Berkshire Humane Society is open and all services are available by appointment only for adoptions, surrenders, and our Pet Food Bank.
