Pet of the Week: Meet Tootsie
Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.
Continuing with Adopt a Senior Pet Month, this week's Pet of the Week is Tootsie, an 8-year-old black tuxedo domestic longhaired cat. She was abandoned by her former owner and when she arrived at the shelter her beautiful long fur was matted, requiring staff to shave some spots out, but they’ll grow back! Tootsie is shy at first, but is super sweet, likes to be held, and has a photogenic face. Tootsie is not good with other cats and needs a home where someone will dote on her and brush her long coat on a regular basis.
To learn more about Tootsie and all the other pets looking for their forever home, contact the Berkshire Humane Society at 214 Barker Road in Pittsfield, or give the shelter a call at (413) 447-7878.
The Berkshire Humane Society is now open to the public, adhering to all state COVID-19 guidelines.
