Lee Has The Only ‘Spirit Halloween’ In Berkshire County

Spirit Halloween is open again in Massachusetts. There are 34 stores this year. Most sit east of Worcester. Out here in the Berkshires, the map is short. There is no location in Pittsfield, either.

If you used to go to the old JoAnn building on Dalton Avenue in Pittsfield, you won't find one. That store is gone this year. The Berkshire stop moved to the Lee Premium Outlets. The address is 17 Premium Outlets Boulevard, Suite H530. It is in the old Nike space.

That is the closest store for Pittsfield, North Adams, Great Barrington, and the surrounding hill towns.

Need one closer to Springfield? Holyoke is at 2267 Northampton Street. Hadley is at 367 Russell Street. Westfield is at 431 East Main Street. Springfield is at 1277 Liberty Street. West Springfield is at 935 Riverdale Street.

What is Spirit Halloween?

Spirit does the same thing every fall. It takes an empty store, fills it with jumping decorations, and sells costumes, makeup, fog machines, and yard props. Kids love walking the aisles. Parents should set a budget before they walk in.

You can order online and pick it up at the store if you do not want to shop the whole floor.

Hours change by location. Check stores spirithalloween.com before you drive. Most stores close right after Halloween.

Lee is the Berkshire store this year. If Saturday is packed, Holyoke or Hadley is the next stop that does not take half the day.

The store actually opened back in August - it's amazing the demand for these stores!
