June is Pride month! The world is a crazy place right now but despite everything else going on the City of Pittsfield has not forgotten to join the celebration of the LGBT+ community.

The City of Pittsfield started the month by hoisting the LGBTQ+ flag outside City Hall and lit the downtown building in rainbow colors. Videos of both can be viewed below.

Yesterday, Mayor Linda Tyer officially proclaimed June 2020 as Pride month in Pittsfield. You can watch her full address below as well.

In a "normal world" Berkshire Pride would be putting together Berkshire County's 4th Annual Pride Celebration, slated to take place at The Common on First St. However, given public safety measures, the event has been postponed until October 10. Details can be seen here. Mark your calendars so we can make the October event just as great as past events.
