Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

This week's Pet of the Week is Boo a beautiful 2-year-old neutered male Japanese Akita mix. Akitas are known to protect the ones they love, so a family experienced with his breed type would be the best fit.

Boo is house-trained, takes to training well, and walks well on a leash. With his thick fur, he’s enjoying taking long walks in the snow. Boo gets along with other social dogs, but will not be placed in a home with cats or children.
