Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

This week's Berkshire Humane Society Pet of the Week is Jack Jack. This feisty boy with a smirky grin was originally brought to Berkshire Humane as a stray. Presumed to be approximately 1.5 years old, shelter staff describe him as “full of beans” and are working on his “cat manners.”

A sleek domestic shorthair with a handsome gray and white coat, Jack Jack is sure to win you over with his charm. Just be prepared for his sly cat antics. He’s the perfect candidate for someone who likes a rough-and-tumble type of cat, so homes without children or other cats would be best.

If Jack Jack sounds like the cat’s meow for you, please reach out to the Berkshire Humane Society feline staff at (413)-447-7878 ext. 124

All cat and dog adoptions have been reduced by $100, and small animal adoption fees waived, with the exception of rabbits through July 15th to help reduce the shelter’s recent overabundance of pets Berkshire Humane is currently housing. Please make adoption your option.
