The City of Pittsfield was hit with a wave of nostalgic buzz recently when alumni filled the halls of Taconic High School for one last walk down memory lane, before the doors were shuttered for the last time.

With the closing of that chapter, a new one begins. The city's brand new, west side high school is slated to open it's doors for the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year. A project years in the making, the state of the art school will be completed on time and under its $120 million budget.

Anyone driving down Valentine Road can check out the exterior of the building as finishing touches are completed, but the million dollar question, what's the inside look like? Pittsfield City Hall has provided everyone with a sneak peak before students hit the halls this fall. It looks pretty amazing!
