John Perrault from The Berkshire Humane Society joins "Slater and Marjo In The Morning" on Wednesday mornings to discuss the pet of the week.

Blue is a handsome grey 10-month-old Pittie mix with beautiful white markings. He came to Berkshire Humane Society because his owner passed away and is looking for an active home.

This boy would much rather be out on the trails hiking or running than sitting on the couch. Right now, Blue is in his adolescent stage, so he becomes overstimulated quickly, but he's doing well with his training and can be redirected with treats. He's also doing well with his house-training.

He did well expressing his artistic side while doing a "lick art" painting for St. Patrick's Day. Due to his bouncy nature, he'd do best in a home with children at least 12 years old. Blue could potentially live with another dog, and Berkshire Humane Society kennel staff are willing to do a dog introduction to see if he'll meet his match.
