Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

The Pet of the Week this week is Bella, an 11-year-old Torti with a big waistline and even bigger heart! She was surrendered to the Humane Society with her brothers after her owner passed away. Weighing in at just about 25 pounds, Bella is in need of a special home who will customize her diet and exercise to make sure she is as healthy as possible. She is great with other cats and has no other health issues.

The Berkshire Humane Society is now open to the public, adhering to all state COVID-19 guidelines.

To learn more about Bella and all the other pets looking for their forever home, contact at the Berkshire Humane Society at 214 Barker Road in Pittsfield, or give the shelter a call at (413) 447-7878.
