Pet of the Week: Meet Cassandra

Every Wednesday at 8:30 Slater and I are joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

This week we introduce Cassandra to you. She is a one-year-old pit bull mix who loves to play, walks well on a leash and is even housebroken. Cassandra will definitely do best in a home without small animals. The Humane Shelter is optimistic someone will take this sweet girl home and become a fan of her giant's ears, just like the staff.

Amazingly enough, at this time all of the dogs at the shelter have gone to their forever home except Cassandra. BHS is expecting more dogs to arrive from a transport this week, but Cassandra is a holdover from the last transport from Tennessee.
