Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

Today's Pet of the Week is Chester. Chester is an 8-month-old pit bull terrier mix who came to Berkshire Humane Society as part of a transport from Mobile, Alabama. Shelter staff describes Chester as an energetic young dog who loves people and other dogs. He has not been cat tested yet, so staff does not have a definitive answer yet if he would do well at a home with a cat. Chester loves to play fetch. Sometimes he finds it hard to contain his youthful spirit and he can jump on people, so a home without young children would be best. The staff at Berkshire Humane Society are working with him on his manners and he is making good progress.
