Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

This week's Pet of the Week is Gracie, a 12-year old black cat who was surrendered to Berkshire Humane because someone in her former home was allergic to cats and had a dog that did not like cats. She is a sweet girl who will sit on your lap and sleep. She is extremely shy and would do best in a quiet household where she feels safe and can latch her affection onto one or two people. Because Gracie is so shy, a home without young children or other pets would be best. She’s a bit depressed at the shelter, so staff are hoping that a gentle person with time to draw this girl out of her shell will take her home soon.
