Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

This week's Pet of the Week is Sparkles, Sparkles is a BIG 11.5-year-old female black and white tuxedo shorthaired cat. Sparkles came to Berkshire Humane Society because her owner could no longer care for her. She is very loving and will cuddle and sleep with you. Sparkles loves to be around people, so she may get underfoot especially when there is food around. You can tell she has an appetite for food because she is a bit overweight but is on a special diet so she can lose a few pounds and get back down to healthier size. Sparkles would do best in a home without young children and as a senior, she is eligible for a the senior discount. If you are interested in Sparkles, please call Berkshire Humane Society's feline department at 413-447-7878 extension 124.
