Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

Mama and Horace are a 13-year and 12-year-old mother and son pair. Mama is all black and Horace is a tuxedo black and white male. They were surrendered because their owner, who had them since they were kittens, got a new puppy and they did not get along. Berkshire Humane Society will be placing this pair together.  Not only does the shelter have a buddy discount on adoption fees on bonded pairs, October adoption fees for all animals are also discounted by $50. This sweet pair deserves a loving home!

For the month of October, Berkshire Humane is offering $50 off the adoption fee of any animal as part of an ASPCA Subaru Loves Pets grant.

To learn more about Mama & Horace and all the other pets looking for their forever home, contact at the Berkshire Humane Society at 214 Barker Road in Pittsfield, or give the shelter a call at (413) 447-7878.

The Berkshire Humane Society is now open to the public, adhering to all state COVID-19 guidelines.
