Outdoor movies are back at Clapp Park this summer, and the best part, they're free!

While Clapp Park in Pittsfield awaits its upcoming makeover, the West Housatonic Street park welcomes back families for outdoor movies again this summer. Family friendly movies will be shown on select Fridays throughout the summer months.

Thanks to the sponsorship of Greylock Federal Credit Union, the movies projected on an outdoor screen, will start at dusk about 8:30 p.m., however rain will cancel a movie.  Attendees are invited to bring chairs and warm blankets.

Here's the 2018 line up;

July 13:  Storks
July 20:  The Lego Batman Movie
July 27:  Zootopia
August 3:  Muppets Most Wanted

August 10, will be a rain date if one movie is cancelled due to rain, August 17 will be a second rain date if more than one movie was cancelled due to rain.

The Department of Community Development welcomes ideas for future movies; please call 499-9371 if you have any suggestions.
