WATCH: Strong Winds in Pittsfield Snap Large Tree

Severe weather that ravaged parts of the southeast is moving north, bringing wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour. Berkshire County is under a high wind warning which is in effect until 6 p.m. tonight (Mon, April 13)

In a tweet, Pittsfield Police shared footage of a large tree on Revere Parkway in Pittsfield that was snapped in half by a strong gust of wind. Luckily, the trunk of the tree held on long enough for a tree service to arrive and remove the top before it caused any injury or damage. Check out the video below.
