Parks & Recreation fans are a special breed of fan, an almost cult following who love the actors on the show just as much as the characters they portray. 15 years after the show ended it's 125 episode run, Nick Offerman who portrayed fan favorite Ron Swanson, is bringing his talents to the stage just a short drive from Berkshire County. Besides his roll on Parks & Rec, Offerman now appears in Fargo, and was also in 21 and 22 Jump Street movie reboots as well as We're The Millers among others.

The Palace Theater in Albany, about 45 minutes from Pittsfield, has announced that Nick Offerman will bring his All Rise tour to capital city theater on Friday, October 25. Tickets range from $42 to $62 and will go on sale to the public on Friday, March 22 at 10 a.m.

Offerman is billing the show as "an evening of deliberative talking and light dance that will compel you to chuckle whilst enjoining you to brandish a better side of humanity than the one to which we have grown accustomed. Genuflection optional: in my church, you kneel as you please"
