Pittsfield Man Pronounced Dead After Being Found Near McKay St. Parking Garage

On Saturday morning around 8:10 a.m., the Pittsfield Police Department responded to the McKay St parking deck for a wellbeing check on a male party.

When units arrived at the parking deck, an unresponsive male was observed lying on the ground on the west side of the parking deck.

The assistance of the Pittsfield Fire Department, as well as Action Ambulance, was immediately requested.

The man, a 30-year-old resident of Pittsfield, was transported to BMC by Action Ambulance where he was pronounced deceased. This incident continues to be under investigation by members of the Pittsfield Police Detective Unit.
